KEYBOARD/TROMBONE GIGS

My keyboard stylings are heavily influenced by Hancock, Corea, Evans and Jarrett, but I can also play Basie, Monk, or Tyner. Armed with multiple keyboards, I can cover everything from simple piano sounds to searing fusion synthesizers or classic rock B3 organs.

While my focus is playing bass trombone in orchestras or big bands, I can easily switch over to tenor to cover higher section parts. When it comes to bass trombone parts, no part is too low!

MUSIC COPYING

Using Finale 2007, I am able to provide clean, easy to read charts custom fit to your needs. In addition to a print out of the score and/or parts requested, you will recieve a CD with Adobe .PDF format files so that you can print your parts out as many times as needed, even without Finale! In a rush, I can e-mail them to you.

ARRANGING/TRANSCRIBING

Can't remember the bass line to "Brickhouse"? No problem. I can make charts for you on any tune from Sinatra to Tribal Tech. Any ensemble from master rhythm lead sheets to full 18-piece big band charts. Let me know what you need and I'll do it!

COMPOSING/FILM SCORING

I have been scoring films for nearly 20 years now and have the gear and the experience to get your film scoring needs fulfilled, fast! Using SONAR 7PE, Reason 4, Adobe Premier Pro CS3 and a variety of other programs, plug-insand software synths, I can score anything from simple piano/keyboard work, to full orchestral emulations.

My focus in composition is not a serial, inhuman approach to music, but one of inspired sound and timbre. I enjoy writing music that focuses on great melodies, rich harmony and creative yet resourceful use of orchestration. Music should not only be fun to listen to, but fun to play as well. Besides, who in their right mind really wants to have more mute changes in their part than notes? (I've seen it in college!)
